says : During the month of July the General Election in England has occupied the thoughts of all who take an interest in Home politics, and it has struck me that perhaps the readers of the Indian Medical Gazette might be interested in a few remarks on the presence in Parliament of members of our profession at home, with lists of those who have, during the last ten 37ears, succeeded or failed in entering Parliament. Only four medical men, if I remember aright, sat in the Parliament of 1880?85, viz., Sir Trevor Lawrence (C) for Mid Surrey; Dr. R. Farquharson (L) for West Aberdeenshire; Dr. C.
